Ky-Mani and Praswell (Fugees), collaborated to create a memorable cover version of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue". His superstardom was evident as Ky-Mani performed at Midem (international musical showcase), when it was staged within Miami for the first time. Ky-Mani performed to a huge audience from all over the world at the Cameo Theatre. The set was broadcast live by CANA (Caribbean News Agency) and broadcast to the 36 nations. Ky-Mani Marley is currently developing his sixth studio album that will show his personal growth and illustrating the duality of his personality: Ky-mani and Maestro. It is a urban sound which has its roots in hip-hop and reggae. This album will be an interesting departure from the synthetic pop which is typically used to describe this type of music. It will instead be real urban hip-hop and reggaefusion. His newest single is called " New Heights" released the 3rd of March, 2011.
